Five little mini skeins of gorgeousness! Made in very small batches (only 7 skeins per pot!) so very unique. Ideal for colour work

Available in 5 botanically plant dyed colours. We have grown the majority of the plants from specialised seeds in our riverside garden to obtain rich and bright colours.
These 20gm mini skeins are perfect for colour work!
We grew the plants from specialist dye seeds, tended them on the River Thames, and then harvested these from our riverside garden. The Madder is made from roots from a UK supplier (our plants won’t be ready for another 3 years!).
The base is vintage 21 - a worsted spun soft blend of Polwarth x Romney. All the sheep that made this yarn live in Northumberland. The yarn was spun by the Natural Fibre Company in Cornwall.
The yellows and greens are made from Weld, and the blue is made from Japanese Indigo and the deep reddish/pink from Madder. As these are botanically hand dyed, we only have a few of these lovely mini skeins available. When they are gone - it will take another year to re-stock!
We only dye 7 skeins per dye pot, so each lot is quite unique. There maybe slight colour variations in each skein.
