UK Shipping

We ship using Royal Mail 1st class tracked from £4.40.

We aim to send out orders within 1-2 business days of receipt. Please allow 2-3 days for your order to arrive.

USA Shipping

We ship using Royal Mail International Tracked service and shipment costs start from £20.70.

We aim to send out orders within 1-2 business days of receipt.

USA Custom and Import Duties (USA)

USA Orders – Import Tariff Changes Effective 29 August 2025

From 29 August 2025, new US import tariffs will apply to all items being imported, including those previously covered by the $800 “de minimis” threshold. This means import duty will be charged on all orders, and payment of these duties is the sole responsibility of the purchaser.

A 10% Tariff will be added to the total purchase price of goods + a small handling fee and paid at checkout before the goods arrive in the US. This should minimise delays at the point of destination.

All USA orders will be dispatched by Royal Mail International Tracked services.

If goods are returned these costs will not be refunded.

If there are any overpaid fees once your order has been processed via Royal Mail, these will be refunded to you. These are calculated at check-out and are automatically added to your order. All Custom and Import duties are therefore pre-paid. Payment of these duties is the sole responsibility of the buyer.

If you place an order and refuse delivery at the point of import, we will refund the item’s purchase price once the goods are returned to us in their original condition. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Overseas Shipping (excluding USA/UK)

EU deliveries start at £10.65, Canada starts at £13.05 and Australia/New Zealand start at £13.05.

International orders can take up to 3 weeks to arrive, though will usually arrive faster. If you require tracked and signed or guaranteed shipping please contact us directly and we can calculate the shipping costs for you.

Customs and Import Taxes (excluding USA)

You may need to pay customs or import duties once your order reaches you. These charges are out of our control and we have no way of predicting what they may be. For further advice, we recommend contacting your local customs office.

The purchaser is responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. If an order is returned to us due to duties and taxes not being paid, it is the responsibility of the customer to re-arrange and pay for redelivery.

wool decanted cannot be held responsible for loss, undelivered or damaged goods during transit.

Returns/Exchanges/Cancellations

We gladly accept returns, exchanges and cancellations:

Despatch items back: Within 14 days of delivery

Request a cancellation: Within 24 hours of purchase

Conditions of Return

Buyers are responsible for return postage costs. If the item is not returned in the original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss of value.
