‘Tis the Season beanie and fingerless mitts have been designed by wool decanted in vintage 23 DK , our softest blend yet. A delicious blend of fibres from Polwarth, Romney and Black Shetland sheep. The beanie is worked in the round from the bottom up to the crown - it has a lush 4inch brim, an easy but striking colour work section as the main body, finished with an elegant 8 point decrease crown. You can knit this cozy beanie in a couple of evenings, using 3 skeins of vintage 23. You could even match it with 'Tis the Season fingerless mitts. Also in vintage 23 DK, they are not only elegant - but cozy too. They’re made long to keep your wrists warm, and have a thumbhole constructed like a buttonhole. They knit up as right and left mitts. The mitts require 2 skeins, but………..if you want to make both the beanie and the mitts - the Complete ‘Tis the Season Kit - you’ll need only 4 skeins in total.
