Silver River Shawl Yarn Bundle- 4ply

Each bundle includes 4 x 50gm skeins of our 4ply yarn which is enough to create this stunning shawl and as a bonus a matching Bottletop Beanie.
The Silver River shawl is a nod to the inspiration we’ve always drawn from the stars. This short row crescent shawl is knit in two colours, with an interesting construction. Wedges of garter stitch interspersed with arcing sections of star stitch - a very clever stitch - give the Silver River Shawl a sense of movement and a modern romantic aesthetic.
Our version of Helen’s Silver River Shawl was knitted using both our signature yarns - vintage 20 and vintage 21. We choose Silver Ripple (vintage 20) and River Thyme (vintage 21) to create this stunning colour combination. Both yarns have exactly the same spinning specification, and you can experience knitting with two different soft British yarns. vintage 20 is a unique blend of fibres from Shetland and Bluefaced Leicester sheep, and vintage 21 is from Polwarth x Romney. All our yarns are made in the UK from field to skein and are fully traceable. The result is a soft, airy fabric with excellent stitch definition - an elusive combination of softness with well defined texture.
