The Crimson Petals beanie is a great colour work project, using just two colours. Worked in the round from the brim to crown, in Vintage 23 DK, it’s a cosy and stylish accessory.
Finished Dimensions (after blocking):
Circumference: 19”/48cm brim circumference (unstretched)
Length: from brim edge to top of crown: 7.5”/19cm
Yarn:
1 x 50g skein Vintage 23 DK, by wool decanted (112m/122yds per 50g) in Col A
1 X 50g skein Vintage 23 DK, by wool decanted (112m/122yds per 50g) in Col B
Colour A, main colour (38 gms used); Colour B, contrast colour 31gms used)

Needles:
3.5mm/US 4 40cm/16” circular needle for knitting in the round,
AND needles suitable for knitting small circumferences in the round.
Gauge:
25sts/28rnds = 10cm/4” in colour work pattern, after blocking
Notions:
12 stitch markers (TIP: use 11 in the same colour/style, for marking the crown decreases, and 1 in an alternate colour/style for marking BOR)
Tapestry needle for finishing crown and weaving in ends
